Today my little football player/ son Trey turned 10 years old. You can't tell this kid he isn't a teenager.  A new curfew, bed time, cellphone, and ipod was the request......LOL.... NOT!!!!! So we meant in the middle, same curfew, 30 minutes extra added to bed time, no ipod, BUT a pre paid cellphone was Cool enough. Needless to say this is one HAPPY KID!!!!!

So we thought this was the end of his birthday list, NOT..... more demands. He wanted a Skateboard shaped cake, and sense we run a cupcake/ designer cake business also, this should be a piece of cake......I couldn't resist...... so skateboard cake it is....it wasn't easy but it got done.... and he loved it

When I found out I was having a baby 10 years ago, I was a 17 year old High School Senior with nothing, not even a part time job. I had no idea how to raise a child, hick I was a child myself, but my then boyfriend now HUSBAND had something that would get us through the many tough times to come and that was FAITH. We would pray every morning for favor, understanding, and guidance. Of course there were obstacles and many many hard times but our FAITH and FAMILY got us through. I came to realized the moment I saw his little swollen face, babies need and want LOVE nothing more nothing less, and everything else is second.
